Western Association of Iranian Students’ Charades (or Pantomim as we like to say in Farsi) Game Night was was unforgettable and filled with laughter, camaraderie, and entertainment! Members were split into two teams and spirits ran high as each member got the chance to unleash their creativity and quick thinking in a lively atmosphere to act out their chosen word, while their team tried to guess correctly in a timely manner. The playful, friendly competition was an entertaining sight to behold and it goes without saying that connections were fostered and lasting memories were made! The game also involved an aspect of Language Exchange, giving students the opportunity to practice their Farsi and English skills, as words in both languages were incorporated into the fun group games that were played!

 

This event was a much needed de-stressor and healthy break from school work, and allowed everyone to meet new people and improve their language skills while engaging in enjoyable games in a warm, friendly, welcoming environment that perfectly demonstrates the values of Iranian culture!
